Overdeck Roof Insulation With Kooltiles
The KOOLTILES are individually molded polystyrene foam tiles, that interlock together over the water- proofing layer on roof slab. This provides a seamless thermal insulation over the roof. It has following additional advantages over the KOOLSHEETS:
1. Monolithic insulation with zero thermal bridging.
2.In case of roof ponding, takes up minimal water, has water absorption of < 0.3% by volume due to its molded skin.
3. Provides a nice shuttering surface to take on the concrete of overlying gradient layer.
4. Uniform density for all individually molded KOOLTILES and hence uniform thermal resistance or R Value.
